Rand Distributors was established in 1992 in response to the need for a reliable source of heavy duty truck spares to the South African Market.
Since then the world has changed and we are realigning our focus towards sustainability and exploring products that are friendlier to our planet.
Although we continue to supply commercial vehicle spares throughout South Africa, we, as a company, feel the responsibility to be part of the solution instead of perpetuating the problem when it comes to preserving the environment for future generations. With the introduction of Green Planet Products our vision has become a reality as we pursue a new path of our business.

DEUTZ DIESEL ENGINES AND SPARES
The concept was initially to strengthen a lacking support and service in the popular 912 & 413/F air cooled engine market, which performs so well in Africa’s rigorous conditions.
Customer enthusiasm and support encouraged the company to broaden its base to a full service of all Deutz parts and extend our services to new markets in the RSA. The company’s aim has always been to offer an experienced professional and friendly service and a quality product at an acceptable market price.
INDUSTRIAL AND MINING TOOLS
We manufacture a range of engineers files and wood rasps, a range of iron tools under the Aftool brand name, and we distribute a range of measuring tools under the Ross brand name.
We also manufacture Aluminium Pinch Bars & Hole Scrapers for the mining industry.
